goSerial
Cocoa
About
goSerial is a serial communications program I'm working on. It's currently in alpha stage (i.e. not feature complete).
Planned features include:
- connect to any serial device (USB adapters work fine)
- supports speeds up to 230400 bps
- use any existing command line transfer protocols (e.g. lrzsz)
- integrated scripting language; downwards compatible with ARA CCL (i.e. use existing modem scripts)
- open as much terminal windows as you like simultaneously
- uses standard tool bar
- log incoming traffic as binary data (XML planned)
- use functions keys for sending text or files or for starting scripts
- emulation modes (planned): VT102, PC-ANSI
- optional autosave feature for open windows
I put up some screenshots for you below.
If you are interested in testing the current version, drop me a line.
